Education: High School graduate with 1 year experience in operating truck or van with a capacity of at least 10,001lbs gross vehicle weight(GVW) or 10-16-wheeled vehicles
Requirements: Must have a valid commercial driver’s license(CDL), Experience in carrying hazardous materials or oversized loads plus certificates or training in handling hazardous materials and cargoes is a must, Must be able to follow strict safety and operations procedure
Job Description: Performs container pick-up and delivery services for inbound and outbound cargoes as required, ensuring that cargoes reach intended location in good condition and on a timely manner. Provides support in the observance of maintenance of transportation equipment being used on a daily basis. Performs daily tractor/equipment checks and reports any discrepancy to the Logistics Services Supervisor. Prepares daily activity reports and submits it together with all supporting documents to the Logistics Services Supervisor on a daily basis. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned by the job from time to time or for skill development.
