Coats is the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of industrial sewing and embroidery threads. COATS has been producing and selling all kinds of threads for over 200  years and have always been in the forefront of developments.  In the Philippines, COATS products are manufactured & distributed by Coats Manila Bay, Inc. which is the largest and the only ISO 9002 and OKEO-TEX standard 100 certified thread company in the country.

The contract between CTSI and Coats Manila Bay has two phases.  Phase 1 will be rolled out to Visayas and Mindanao for the consumer operations using the CTSI Cebu station as distribution hub.  Meanwhile, Phase 2 will be for the Greater Manila Area (GMA) consumer operations using the Manila DC as distribution hub.  The second phase of the said contract will be limited to warehousing services only, where an estimated warehouse space of 750 sqm will be used up for the consumer products of Coats.  The operations for Phase 2 will start on August 2009.
