MICRONESIAN STATIONS PREPARE FOR 2006 AT BUSINESS PLANNING WORKSHOP
 CCD
Wednesday, October 26, 2005

IN THE office of CTSI Guam last September 20 and 21, team members from various stations around Micronesia held an open discussion at the Micronesia business planning workshop to plan for the challenges of the coming year. Led by CEO Jerry Tan and supported by VP George Chiu, among the topics discussed were on 1) Ways how to achieve “zero” service failure 2) Competitive rates and 3) Relationship building.

“For number one, we were able to develop some kind of ‘score card system’,” shared CORPLAN Director Sam Capati, one of the workshop’s facilitators, “for the Micronesia Stations in order for them to achieve zero service failure.”

Corporate HR Manager Cynthia Yñiguez, another facilitator, says the three topics discussed “are very important in building and growing our business. With zero service failure, the customers will be satisfied with our services. With a very good relationship with them, they could even refer us to others. Just like in other businesses, our rates have to be competitive in the industry.”

Among the other concerns highlighted during the workshop were the new target markets the company plans to enter, the customer and competitor analyses and issues on rates.
