| CTSI Saipan maintains its commitment to helping out the community whenever it can as it provided assistance once more to the Red Cross NMI Chapter last July 2005.
With the Red Cross needing trucking services to transport its supplies leftover from their relief efforts (of which the Saipan Station was also a part of) at last year’s Super Typhoon Chaba that devastated the island, CTSI Saipan lent a hand by waiving its trucking fees. This allowed the Red Cross to move its supplies from the Port of Saipan to its warehouse on Airport Road.
Connie Nakamura, Emergency Services director for the American Red Cross NMI Chapter said, “After the typhoon, CTSI Logistics was instrumental in assisting the NMI American Red Cross with the disaster relief efforts. We wholeheartedly thank you again for your assistance.”
Such aid is something that Magalong sees not merely an occasional effort but rather, a continuous commitment that CTSI as a whole strives to live up to. “CTSI has been consistently providing the needed assistance for American Red Cross whether in times of emergency or calamity like typhoons or any fund raising event,” he added. |
