CTSI Saipan provided the American Red Cross (ARC) Saipan Chapter aid for the arrangement of their cargo at ARC’s warehouse last August 21, 2005.
As a joint community project of Tan Holdings, the station provided the necessary manpower and equipment in the usual timely and efficient fashion. Headed by Fidel Malonzo, CTSI Saipan’s Cargo Operation OIC, the whole operation was completed in one day, starting from eight in the morning and ending at three in the afternoon.
For the speedy help, ARC’s Emergency Services director for the NMI Chapter, Connie Nakamura, emailed CTSI Saipan’s general manager, Rene Magalong, and IQA head-freight forwarding manager, Argie Buensalido, a letter of appreciation: “Without folks like you, our mission here at Red Cross would be so much more difficult to fulfill... hopefully someday we will be able to help YOU!”
CEO Jerry Tan says: “I am very proud to read this kind of nice message. Let's continue to help out Red Cross and other community organizations.” And that is something all team members are committed to as Magalong states: “This is actually CTSI's true commitment, not only to support and provide usual assistance to American Red Cross and other social organization, but it is also our true commitment to the CNMI community.” |
