By far the largest footrace in the Philippines and in the world to date, the 10.10.10: A Run for the Pasig River has successfully achieved its primary objective, which is to break the existing world record for footrace.
Records from the auditing firm Sycip, Gorres and Velayo (SGV) validated and verifi ed that 116,086 participants showed up in the 10.10.10: A Run for the Pasig River on Sunday, thereby breaking the Bay to Breakers 12K race in San Francisco, California, which had 110,000 participants on May 18, 1986.
As the event’s offi cial logistics partner, CTSI Logistics takes great pride in the successful outcome of the 10.10.10 run, CTSI Logistics proved to be very prepared for the race. As it turned out, the company has provided more than enough receiving and retrieval counters to accommodate the runners who wanted to deposit their belongings. Meanwhile, some of the runners also expressed their appreciation for the drinking station that the company has put up within its Help Desk area.
On their part, the staff and management of CTSI Logistics – Philippines is happy to have been part of such a historic event.
They also said that they will further support any endeavor that will uphold the Filipino spirit and the signifi cant initiatives for the environment.
