Together with the Pohnpei Health Services, Continental Micronesia, Pohnpei Port Authority, and the Pohnpei State Police Department, CTSI Logistics – FSM recently participated in the Airport Emergency Operations Training & Exercise at the Pohnpei International Airport. 

During the Airport Emergency Operations Training & Exercise, the participants were tasked with activities in the likes of fire fighting and medical emergency response operations.  Meanwhile, the team members from the FSM Station were assigned to work with the airport security department to ensure that the public would not interfere with the operations during the activities.

The purpose of the exercise is to gauge the preparedness of the local authorities in case of aircraft disaster. 

The exercise was conducted by the Federal Aviation Administration.  This is the FSM Station's first time to venture into this kind of exercise.
