CTSI LOGISTICS Philippines is proud to welcome Perfetti Van Melle (PVM) as its latest client. The two companies singed contracts last May 11, 2006. The Philippine Station is using both the Manila and Cebu Supply Chain Centers to service PVM’s needs. (The latter is providing warehousing and distribution, while the former is providing warehousing, distribution and courier services).

Perfetti-Van Melle is an organization born out of a merger between Perfetti (which is Italian-owned) and Van Melle (which is Dutch-owned). Because of the merger, Perfetti-Van Melle now ranks third in the confectionary industry worldwide. They are known for brands such as Mentos, Fruit Tella and a wide variety of gums.

The key signatories at the singing were Perfetti Van Melle Country Manager Emilie dela Pena and CTSI Logistics Philippines GM Lito Austria. For CTSI Logistics, the witnesses were Philippines Business Development Manager Gerry Indandan, Logistics Manager Leo Karamihan, Logistics Coordinator Minerva Tan and Rogacion. For PVM, the witness was National Sales & Trade Marketing Manager Tommy del Mar.

With the contract set for three years, CTSI Logistics Philippines looks forward to providing PVM with the best solutions to improve their business and further build the partnership.
