 CTSI GUAM MAXIMIZES DC
 CCD
Tuesday, May 02, 2006

SINCE ITS GRAND opening last March 8, 2005, CTSI Guam’s Distribution Center (DC) is now filled up according to its general manager, Danny Lim. “After the new DC was built, CTSI Guam’s focus was to market our DC and our logistics capabilities,” he said. “To fill up or maximize the use of the three buildings inside our facility at the earliest possible time was our goal.”

Today, CTSI Guam has several clients in Building 2. Among them is FedEx who has occupied two of the seven units for rent since March 8. Lim said that having FedEx as a client “not only gives us lease but the name of FedEx adds value to our facility. Most importantly, this will start the service partnership between FedEx and CTSI Guam.”

Take Care Health Systems LLC also took one unit. Other than leasing them space, CTSI Guam will be providing logistics services as well, which Lim foresees to “also lead to the service partnership between” the two companies.

Other clients of the station in Building 2 are National Technology who is being leased one unit and the Department of Veteran Affairs, a federal government entity who is being leased three units. CTSI Guam also provides these two clients logistics and freight forwarding services.

For Building 3, CTSI Guam has Cosmos Distributing as a client. Cosmos uses the building for its non-food inventory and also receives inventory management, warehousing and distributing services from the station.

Another client who relocated to Building 1 is the Louis Vuitton Group. The latter moved last April 18 where they are receiving warehousing and distribution services from CTSI Guam. Lim disclosed that part of the services they are providing to the Louis Vuitton Group are “temperature controlled warehousing service plus local distribution to duty free shops.”
