JULY 2006 – Doing their share to help Saipan’s youth broaden their career options, CTSI Logistics Saipan participated in WIA’s (Workforce Investment Agency) Summer Youth Employment Training Program.
WIA is an organization that assists residents of Saipan in finding jobs in private sectors.
The Saipan Station accepted 11 youths, ages 17-20, who were randomly selected for training at various departments such as Logistics Services, Oceanfreight Outbound, Human Resources and Finance. The program, which recently ended, lasted six weeks. “It was fun while it lasted and you can be sure that next year, we will join again,” said Saipan Station HR Officer Ana Kim. As a farewell token, the Saipan Station treated the youths to lunch. |
