CORPORATE IT conducted two implementations in Guam. Jean Zabala, Corporate IT’s Product specialist, was on the island from November 15 to December 15, implementing the POS (Point of Sales) system for Cosmos Guam. Present during the implementation was Cosmos Guam’s general manager, Evelyn Maronilla.
The implementation was meant to upgrade Cosmos’ existing system, which they have been using for almost ten years already. Zabala shared that the operation was “carried out well because Cosmos anticipated the training and was prepared.”
Zabala also mentioned that Corporate IT’s Technical team and Product Specialist team were a big help in developing and supporting the POS project for Cosmos Guam.
With the new system in place, Zabala said that Cosmos is “excited with the new system because it will be easier to use, their performance will be faster and the system is customized according to their day to day operations.”
On the other hand, Den Santos, Corporate IT’s Technical manager, conducted the ICSLite implementation in Guam from November 14 to December 21 for CTSI Logistics Guam. Present during the implementation was its general manager, Danny Lim, and warehouse supervisor, Arnold Ang. With the new system in place, the Guam Station now looks forward to the more effective monitoring of its clients’ (Cosmos, Suyen [Bench] and Teal Pacific) inventory.
“ICSLite is great,” Ang commented after the implementation. “The system is a big a help in our day to day work, especially when we need to retrieve information critical data.” |
