SAIPAN – Following Mobil Oil Marianas’s appointment last month of TAT Petroleum (Guam) Inc. as the sole distributor of Mobil lubricants in the Northern Marianas, the Saipan Station conducted its first customer pick-up and delivery last November 1, 2006.

TAT Petroleum (Guam) Inc. is the newly formed joint venture between TAT Petroleum Singapore Pte Ltd. and Cosmos Distributing Co. Guam Ltd., which has the Saipan Station handling the logistics and sales services.

For this operation, Cosmos handled the invoicing transaction while the Saipan Station also took care of the issuances. The turnover of inventory took place last October 26 and lasted up to October 28. From there, the station performed the pick-up of Mobil Oil’s drums and pails, which they delivered to the Hyatt Hotel and AA Enterprise.
