A CONTRACT signing between CTSI Logistics Philippines and the Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) took place last October 23, 2006 at the Rembrant Hotel in Quezon City, Philippines.
The contract is for the nationwide distribution of PITC’s pharmaceutical products. Philippine Station Business Development Manger Gerry Inandan informed that this project is an initiative of the Philippine President’s administration. “President Gloria Macapagal wanted low cost medicines for the Filipino people,” he explained, “and CTSI Logistics will be instrumental in the distributing operations of those affordable drugs nationwide.”
This partnership gives CTSI Logistics an opportunity to be player in the pharmaceutical industry in the Philippines, he added. Inandan sees this partnership as a “break through” and hopes to develop more clients in the same industry.
Representing PTIC were Chairman and President Secretary Roberto Pagdanganan, EVP Undersecretary Teddie Rivera, VP for Logistics and Supply Chain Jesus Cantos, VP for Sales Jose Cortez, OIC for Supply Chain Elvie Aspa and Legal Officer Attorney Maotse Robles.
Also representing CTSI Logistics were GM Lito Austria and Senior Sales Executive Zoilo Dela Cruz. |
