CORPORATE IT implemented ICSLite version 2 for the Cebu Supply Chain Center last September 5-9, 2006 to improve the warehouse inventory processing of one of its clients, Quantum Foods Inc.

Conducting the implementations were Corporate IT’s Corrine Infiesto, product specialist, and Jun Pindea, network administrator. ICSLite (Inventory Control System Lite) is an inventory control software that enables automated inventory processing, providing precise real-time information while reducing warehouse inventory costs.

Meeting Cebu Supply Chain Center Warehouse Manager Lito Acha and his team, Infiesto and Pineda also helped in the procurement of the hardware for the Cebu Center as well as the preparation of the migration to a new ISP. Infiesto said that the implementation went by smoothly as Cebu Center team members understood the system process easily. “They said the ICSLite was very user-friendly and that it was easy to get used to it,” she added.

With the ICSLite version 2 now implemented, the Cebu Supply Chain Center need not go through the hard way anymore in processing Quantum Foods’ needs. “The system would help them (Cebu Center) track and maintain their inventory of Quantum in the warehouse,” said Infiesto. “It would automate their goods receipt, requisition, picking, issuance of items and generation reports.”
