THE PHILIPPINE and Hong Kong Stations passed their ISO 9001:2000 audits last April, earning a “zero findings” assessment.
So to what do these stations attribute their success to? “The station's successful audit is due largely to two factors: people and systems,” answered Lito Austria, CTSI Philippines GM. “We have in place a team of competent and dedicated professionals who are able to implement the systems we have put in place. Through the years, CTSI has also been able to internalize the ISO standards and observe this in is all aspects of our operations.”
Lidia Ng, who was CTSI Hong Kong's Administration officer at the time of the audit, answered that it was their early preparation, reinforced with frequent reminders, as well as the good leadership of their general manager, Eric Ng, that produced favorable results.
Certainly, the successful audit reaffirms the credibility and capabilities of both stations as world-class players in the logistics industry. “With this 'seal of approval,' our clients are assured that aside from the highly competitive rates and good service we offer, our operating standards are also at par, or even better, than the more well-known providers in the business,” said Austria. |
