HONDA SIGNS CONTRACT WITH PHILIPPINE STATION
 CCD
Tuesday, April 11, 2006

Honda Philippines, Inc. signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the CTSI Philippines last March 27. Closing the deal at Honda’s office in Parañaque were CTSI Philippines’ GM, Lito Austria, and Business Development manager, Gerry Inandan. Representing Honda were Spare Parts Group (After Sales Division) Manager Eduardo Rejuso, Audit and Corporate Legal Manager Atty. Brigido E. Valmadrid, Parts Sales and Marketing (Spare Parts Group, After-Sales Division) Manager Roberto Barrameda and Audit Group Assistant Manager Erick V. Janda.

The Philippine Station will be providing the world-renowned automotive company seafreight loose cargo services for its motorcycle spare parts and oil for delivery to Visayas and Mindanao key cities. The contract also includes the delivery of the same items from Honda’s warehouse in Davao City to other Mindanao municipalities.

CTSI Philippines is enthusiastic about this new partnership as its views it also as an opportunity to promote its other capabilities to Honda. “We are also targeting other departments and sections (of Honda),” said Eleonor Lopera of CTSI Philippines’ Sales Department.

Other than the logistics capability to fully handle the requirements of Honda, Lopera attributes CTSI Philippines’ full IT backup as another advantage that helped win them the contract. “They were also impressed with how we presented our facilities, which serves as a good sales tool,” added Lopera, “they also found our rates competitive.”
