CTSI Logistics’ Corporate IT (CIT) provided Century Insurance support in the latter’s recent acquisition of new software, the “Geniisys” system from CPI (Computer Professionals Inc.).

Albert Yazon, CIT Business Solutions supervisor, said that they are committed to assist Century Insurance on the upcoming onsite implementation of the said system, which happens on November 22, 2006.

He added: “At the same time, CIT has taken this opportunity to learn and have a better understanding of the insurance business process so that we will be better equipped in providing support to Century Insurance should they need additional system requirements in the future.”

CPI representatives conducted “Change Management Review” sessions at Century Insurance Saipan’s office last August 20-September 3, which was also attended by Yazon. The objective of the session was for CPI to understand and review the existing process of Century Insurance’s operations as well as to identify and map out their system requirements. At the same time, the review gave Century Insurance management a glimpse of the features and functionalities of the major modules of Geniisys insurance system which covers areas such as policy Issuance, claims, reinsurance, distribution and accounting modules.

The outcome of the review was positive, which prompted Century Insurance to fast track the implementation of the Geniisys system. The contract signing for the said system was conducted in the Philippines last September 27. The onsite implementation will begin on November 22 and will last up to December 20 this year.
