CTSI LOGISTICS, MELL, FEDEX HOLD 2006 CUSTOMER APPRECIATION NIGHT
 CCD
Monday, November 06, 2006

CTSI Logistics, MELL and FedEx held their annual Customer Appreciation Night (CAN) last October 18, 2006 at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan’s Hibiscus Hall. This year’s CAN had a Mexican motif, headlined by the theme, “'Olé!” The latter, which is used to express excited approval, refers to the three companies’ gratitude to its partners in business and in the community for helping them achieve their goals.

The CAN had a chockfull of games, activities and gimmicks for every guest. From “Hit the Piñata” to “Pin the Tail on the Donkey” to the “Jalapeno Eating” contest, there was no scarcity of good times at the CAN.

Hosted by Tan Holdings Business Development Manager Ivan Quichocho and Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan Training Manager Jayneal Borromeo, the program contained several Latin dance numbers and several raffle draws.

With the grand prize being a Saipan-Manila trip donated by Continental Airlines, the guests' anticipation rose several notches. This year’s CAN also featured a loteria (Mexican lottery), which had the same grand prize in store.

The proceeds of the sold loteria tickets were given to the Karidat Foundation as well as additional donations form The Tan Holdings Foundation and CTSI Logistics. Receiving the donation was Karidat VP Esther Fleming.

The Karidat Foundation is a Northern Mariana Islands social services organization that provides assistance to people on Saipan through its various outreach programs.

Taking short time outs from the partying, CTSI Logistics executives, along with their partners from FedEx and MELL, shared a few words of gratitude to their clients. Saipan Station President Frank Camacho said that despite the challenges that Saipan faces there will always be big and small reasons to celebrate their partnerships. Saipan Station GM Rene Magalong, who gave the opening and closing remarks, called up on executives from MELL and FedEx onstage to give brief remarks and thanks.

With such a successful and fun-filled event, this year’s CAN was a perfect display of the spirit of partnership. Indeed, it gave many of the events’ guests and hosts reason to stand up from their seats and yell, Olé!
