HONG KONG, March 29-30, 2007 – IST Project managers, Jane Hale, and Jaygee Adorna, represented IST at the PUMA Scan and Pack Project Kick Off at the World Cat Limited office in Kowloon Bay.
IST was chosen by World Cat Limited, PUMA’s sourcing company, as its solutions provider for the development, implementation and roll out of the Scan and Pack System to at least 70% of its total vendor community. IST was chosen by WCL because of their experience with scan/pack solutions as well as its history of providing systems and services to some of the world’s most prestigious brands.
The IST team members met with WCL’s Oliver Brinkmann, senior manager for Global Reporting & Sourcing, Stacy Ming, junior manager for Strategic Planning & Support, David Yuen, MIS manager and May Choi, system analyst.
During the two-day meeting, IST and PUMA went over several important concerns such as reviewing the MOA (Memorandum of Agreement) that will be executed between the two parties before the actual project starts; defining the project team structure and each team member’s roles and responsibilities; definition of the system scope, which includes the factories and product divisions that will be covered in the system roll out and implementation; definition of project timelines and phases; and the review of WCL’s business process in relation to their scan and pack processes.
