THE THREE US Stations – Los Angeles, New York and Ohio – wore red last February 2, 2007 in support of the American Heart Association’s “Red Friday” program, which aims to raise awareness of heart disease in women.
Natassia Perez, US Station HR administrator, encouraged all her team members to support this cause saying, “Too few people realize that heart disease is the number one killer of women – and men – but the good news is heart disease can be prevented.”
Men and women from the three stations came to work on the said date wearing an assortment of red clothing such as sweaters, jackets, shirts and dresses. By supporting programs such as this, US Station team members hope to help spread the message of achieving good health through prevention to everyone. |
