The Philippine Station successfully closed a deal with BP early this year. The contract with this new account will run for three years.
Gerry Inandan, former Director of Sales and now the new GM of the Philippine Station, shared that it took them a year of tedious processes including the bidding process, the elimination/short listing, the final presentation and the final negotiation on the rates, before they were able to secure the contract with BP.
Asked on what he thinks was the deciding factor of BP in choosing the services offered by CTSI Logistics, Gerry says that it is “our commitment in complying with their HSSF Program” that gave CTSI Logistics an edge over other competitors.
In an interview, Gerry mentioned that part of their preparations for this new account is to exert significant efforts to further their HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) program.
