CTSI Logistics takes pride in its successful revalidation for the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) Audit last February 10.
The revalidation process is appropriated to CTSI Logistics as an entity but the US CBP has opted to limit their visits to the Cebu and Manila offices of CTSI Logistics – Philippines during the revalidation process.
CTSI Logistics previously received C-TPAT certification in May 2003, after which it received validation in April 2004.In September 2007, the first revalidation process took place when the US CBP inspected the CTSI Logistics offices in Manila and Cebu. Due to the 3-year revalidation schedule maintained by the US CBP, the Manila and Cebu offices of CTSI Logistics were reinspected last February 2010.
During the inspection proper, some minor recommendations were made by the US – CBP security offi cers in order to further strengthen the security of the company’s supply chain.
C-TPAT or is a joint government-business initiative to build cooperative relationships that strengthen overall supply chain and border security.
